    Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students.  Passes are not accepted as this is a fundraising event for PHS Basketball programs.  Anyone interested in playing should email sbarnes@palmer-isd.org or call Gary Barnes at (469) 335-2949.  Auction Donations can be dropped off at the Middle School or High School Office.

    Palmer School District is ready to push messages to you with School Rush!

     

    Your School, District and Teacher will be using a new APP for parent communication – School Rush! App. We hope you will join in to receive updates and reminders from your child's school/class.

     What does the School Rush! APP do?

     School Rush! provides direct push communication and text messages from your child's teacher, school/district to you.  It also allows the school district to push messages to you directly - for example, about bus delays or if we have to cancel school.

     Activity Feed lets you take a peek at classroom or school activities. See and download pictures, documents from your teacher!

     On the planner, calendar tab, School Rush! contains your child's teacher's personal class calendar with information about tests, special activities, and reminders so you have this information at your fingertips. School Rush! calendar syncs with Google or any iCal Calendar

     Through the connect tab School Rush! gives you one touch access to school and staff phone, email, and website.

     Let's get started!

     Parents should receive an email/text invitation from School Rush! containing their password and information with instructions to download the School Rush App.

     If you do not receive the email/text invitation from School Rush! by 08/28/2017, please follow the steps below:

     1) Check your SPAM/Junk folders for email from support@schoolrush.com.

     2) If it is not in your SPAM or junk folder, send kevin.noack@palmer-isd.org an email so we can verify your email address is correct with the District.

    Palmer ISD has had to raise lunch prices at Elementary, Middle, and High School to be in compliance with TDA. Breakfast prices at all campuses will remain $2.00. Lunch at the Elementary will be $2.75 and $3.25 at Middle School and High School.

    Star Scores Now Available            STAAR
    Individual results for students who took the 2017 Spring STAAR tests have been released by the state.  Parents may use the state-assigned unique access code to log into the portal to view STAAR scores and access additional resources.  Palmer ISD will mail a paper version of the new student STAAR Report.  Paper reports will be mailed on the following dates:
    STAAR End of Course will be mailed out in early July.
    STAAR grades 3-8 will be mailed out the week of July 10th.
     
    Steps for Texas Assessment Student Data Portal:
    1. Go to http://www.texasassessment.com/ 
    2. Click on "Log in to Student Portal"
    3. Click "OK" in the pop-up box
    4. You will then be redirected to the Texas Assessment Data Portal.
    • If you know your student's Unique Access Code, click on the "Lookup Access Code" link
    • Enter the Student's First Name, PEIMS ID (either the Social Security Number or the State ID Number), and Date of Birth.  Then click "GO"
    • The student's Access Code will automatically populate.  Click "GO" again.
         5. Once you've successfully entered the Unique Access Code and Date of Birth, the student's test history will be displayed on the screen.  Click on any test name to view its details.  To obtain an electronic copy of the 2017 STAAR Report Card, click the "Download PDF" button in the upper-right corner.
         6. Click on the test administration to view the STAAR Report Card.
         7. The system will generate a PDF file suitable for download/printing.

    “PALMER ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR’S TAX RATE.”   “The tax rate did not increase.  It is at a $1.17 for Maintenance and Operations which is where it has remained since 2009.  The property values have increased, consequently, that increases the amount of taxes collected.”

    Palmer ISD will reimburse each student for the cost of either the ACT or SAT college entrance exam one time per the student's enrollment at PHS and as the funds are available.

  • How to RSVP on the website Calendar   
    To RSVP/Register on the Website Calendars go to the webpage that you need to register and on the right hand side you will see "View Calendar."  Click on the "View Calendar" link which will take you to the Calendar.  In the upper right hand corner will be the date.  If it is the wrong month, click on the up or down arrows to get to the correct month.  Once you get to the correct month, click on the date that you would like to register for.  Scroll to the bottom and you will see a button that says "register."  Click on that.  Click "register now."  Once that window closes you will see that the ribbon has changed from "Not registered" to "I'm Registered"
