Please let us know if you recognize these glasses. They are missing their owner!

⭐️ National FFA Week is Next Week ⭐️
2/17-2/20
Help Palmer FFA/Jr. FFA by celebrating with dress up days throughout the week!

Today we celebrated our staff members of the month! Mrs. Greenlee received the "Work Hard, Glow Hard" award and Ms. Cortez earned the "Glow Getter" award. Please join us in congratulating these two amazing educators!

Recent photos of our students! We are so busy learning and teaching we forgot to post! 😉

National School Counseling Week is February 3 - 7!
Palmer ISD would like to thank our fantastic counselors. They put in so much time and hard work to ensure the well-being and success of our students. Thank you so much for all that you do for our schools and our students! We appreciate you!

Palmer ISD will be closed today January 30th due to flooding roads.

Flu season is hitting hard this year! Please remember that your child MUST be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications before they can return to school. If they take Tylenol or Motrin to get them through the day, they need to stay home. If your child has diarrhea, please keep them home until they are diarrhea-free for 24 hours. Diarrhea is 3 or more episodes of loose stools in a 24-hour period. As always, good hand washing is the best way to prevent the spread of germs!
We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our school community healthy!

Attention 2-4 grade parents - register your student for the Mystery Book Club scheduled for February. Parents will have to make transportation arrangements. Spots are limited - sign up today!

Celebrations continued this afternoon with our students that earned perfect attendance for the second nine weeks. We had 82 students attend The Creature Teacher!

Learn practical tips on keeping your child safe online, including dangers of social media, examples of protective software and time allotments for child internet usage.
If you attend tonight, your child and/or children will receive 5 Top Dog cards. See you tonight @ 630 in the PES cafeteria.

Jingles and Joy continue with their mischief! Yesterday they drew silly faces on some student and staff pictures; this morning they were playing in the ball pit and the gumball machine!

Our Principal of the Day, Mr. Sanchez, took all student needs very seriously. He checked all exterior doors this morning, completed classroom walkthroughs, helped with lunch duty and volunteered in various classrooms. Carlos was a huge help to our office staff! He sure put Mrs. Cunningham and Mr. Bodie to shame with how well he dressed! 😉

We are entering this final week of the semester in good spirits! Parties are Thursday at 2:15; all guests must have an ID.

Joy and Jingles broke into Ms. Chambless's classroom and found some friends to play with last night. Mrs. Clause had to come and peek to make sure the elves...and children...were behaving! 🎅🏻

Day #2 with Joy and Jingles included a workout. Can you imagine how tired their arms are after guiding their way to the North Pole each night? 😉

Joy and Jingles arrived from the North Pole! Our students were SO excited for their arrival! Several students commented, "They need to go to the principal's office since they made a big mess!" ❤️ Stay tuned for more elf mischief over the next two weeks!

Everyone left in the Christmas spirit after the 2nd grade program! Our students are precious and did such a great job! 🎄🎅🏻
A video will be posted in a separate post.

We hope you join us for PTO at 6:00 and our second grade holiday program at 6:30. Both events will be held in our cafeteria. See you tonight!

Santa Noack and Reindeer Middlebrooks made our staff VERY happy this morning with our Christmas retention checks! We appreciate the support of our central administration and school board members. We are proud to work for PISD! 🎄🎅🏻
