Palmer FFA members Emma Spurlock, Sydney Stewart and Aubrey Elder made for a great start with the Fall
Fair season at the East Texas State Fair this past weekend.
Sydney Stewart placed 1st with her Simbrah heifer in a stiff class of heavy older heifers and finished 3rd overall Simbrah heifer. Sydney then returned with her market steer and finished middle of her class.
Aubrey Elder exhibited her market steer and placed 2nd on her first outing.
Rounding out the weekend with the banners and buckles, Emma Spurlock showed her Duroc gilt and received Breed Champion as well as Champion Senior Showman!
Congrats to all the girls and their accomplishments this weekend!
Another great friday night for the Bulldog Band and Guard! They had a great performance and kept the stands excited as the football team played a close game!
This week, we want to say thank you to the following band and guard members of the week! Along with the section of the week. The dedication of these students is truly what makes the Bulldog Band and Guard what it is!
🐾First Pep Rally this Friday!!! Everyone is welcome to come and get our Bulldogs ready for a victory. Enjoy performances, hear from the teams, cheer loud, and show your bulldog spirit!
Congratulations to Mr. Nolan and the Palmer Ag Mechanics classes for applying for and receiving a $2500 grant from the Texas Farm Bureau and the inaugural Ag Mechanics Grant Program!
The department will be receiving the funds to be spent towards the newly offered Ag Power Systems classes better equip the shop for their classes and meet course objectives.
