5th graders enjoyed a trip to the UTA planetarium 🪐
Congratulations to our Palmer FFA LDE Teams for a job well done competing at the Blackland District LDE Contest. Palmer FFA took 18 students and competed in 9 different categories. We are happy to announce that we placed in the Top 5 in 5 of those categories: Ag Advocacy, Greenhand Quiz, Senior Skills, Senior Spanish Creed and Greenhand Spanish Creed.
A big congratulations to our Middle School Greenhand Spanish Creed speaker who placed 1st, making her an Area Qualifier! And another special shout out to one of our Middle School Greenhand Quiz Competitors who was the 5th place high individual!
We were also well represented by a Senior Creed speaker, Senior Quiz team, and Senior Radio team. Way to go bulldogs, we are so proud of all of you!
This morning, NJHS volunteered their time at First Methodist, helping to organize all those wonderful canned food donations. Their dedication to the Palmer community is truly inspiring. Way to go, students!
Special guest reader Captain Noah Myers spoke with 5th grade students about the importance of Veterans Day and answered their questions about his time in service.

Attention 8th Grade Parents!
There will be an informational meeting tomorrow, November 4th, at 5:30 p.m. in the Middle School cafeteria to discuss the Bulldog Academy Dual Credit Program. Some of our Jr FFA members and middle school students have been spending some time after school working in the ag shop learning welding and metal fabrication skills. They are very excited to learn this new skill and we are very excited to have them in our program. They will begin working on projects soon that they will have the opportunity to showcase at some of the spring ag mechanics project shows.
