History is calling! We are thrilled to launch the Palmer Pathfinders, a brand-new middle school travel group, and our very first destination is historic Boston in the summer of 2028!
This inaugural trip will give students the opportunity to step out of the classroom and walk through American history firsthand—from the Freedom Trail to iconic historic landmarks.

Daily trip itinerary and student experience

Our teams played in Whitney. Both 7th grade teams played hard, but came up short. Our 8A and 8B teams beat the Wildcats! Next game is Monday against Rio Vista in Palmer.

Lauren is beginning her 2nd year at Palmer Middle School, where she teaches 8th grade Science and serves as the NJHS Sponsor. Lauren loves working in PISD because of the small-school feel and the incredible community we have here. She creates engaging science lessons because she believes science should be hands-on and fun! This year, Lauren is also launching the Middle School Travel Group and planning an exciting student excursion to Boston. We’re also proud to have her two daughters as Palmer Elementary students!

Mrs. Reid's annual Easter egg hunt in August. Training to find those literary clues.
One of our Ag Structures classes had some extra time this week to finish a project for the Middle School. We designed some signs to help visitors identify the main office entrance and the Gold Building entrance. Students are excited to get to work in the shop after finishing our annual safety training and review. We are excited to have the largest number of students that we have ever had enrolled in our Ag Mechanics classes. We are excited to see new students learning the welding trade and returning students improving and learning new skills.
Middle school had a great time at our district pep rally today! Our cheerleaders did a great dance, Mrs. Howell and Landon played grab the mic, and our kids won the spirit stick! Way to go middle schoolers!
